Ginkakuji-temple(Silver Pavilion)
This was built in the 15th century by the 8th shogun of Ashikaga samurai government. Although it is not covered with silver, the wooden pavilion and its elegant garden will attract you. It is said that they express “Wabi Sabi”, which is based on the idea that beauty lies in simplicity.
