Kamakura from Tokyo

There are several ways to get to Kamakura from Tokyo. However, these are considered the most convenient.

1. From Tokyo, Shimbashi, Shinagawa, or Yokohama station

Directions:
Take the JR Yokosuka Line and get off at either Kamakura or Kita-Kamakura station, depending on your tour plan. Traveling time is approximately one hour from Tokyo or Shimbashi station, fifty minutes from Shinagawa station, and thirty minutes from Yokohama station.

2. From Shinjuku, Shibuya, or Ikebukuro station

Directions:
Take the Shonan-Shinjuku Line. If the train is bound for Zushi station, get off at Kamakura or Kita-Kamakura station. Please note that unless the train is bound for Zushi station, you will need to transfer. If you need to transfer, simply transfer to the Yokosuka Line at either Totsuka station or Ofuna station. You can get off at either Kamakura or Kita-Kamakura station. Traveling time is approximately one hour from Shinjuku, Shibuya, or Ikebukuro station.

I will be waiting for you at the West Exit of Kamakura station or at the main Exit of Kita-Kamakura station.
